Honor Quest was born in 2015. The name was inspired by the scripture, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing and the honor of kings to search it out.” Beauty is concealed all around us. It is in the Earth and under the sea. It is hidden inside of me and inside of you. This is the inspiration behind the work. Whether it be the stones and crystals pulled from the ground, ancient glass rescued from the sea, or electrical wires once discarded; the piece you hold has had a life before you and with you its journey will continue.
My name Megan Sanders. I am a wife and mother of five from the mountains of South Carolina. It is such an honor to have you, or someone you love, wear a pieces I made. All of my jewelry is hand-crafted and assembled in my basement “studio”. Please know that much love and prayer are in each of my creations. the drops
After closing our Etsy shop in 2018, I knew I wanted to focus on selling through "in person" markets but struggled to decide how to make my creations accessible to my non-local friends and customers. Then covid-19 hit and we began to sell solely through monthly “drops” in our Facebook group. When we out grew Facebook as a selling venue this website was born. We still have shop drops a few times a month and are always updating our inventory. At the beginning of each month the dates for the drops are announced via social media.
